This weekend I am working a couple of special events for MUSC. I have been with the Office of Development for almost a year now, and am so privileged to be to a part of such amazing events. This morning I helped out with the Dedication and Grand Opening of the James B. Edwards Dental Medicine Building. Dr. Edwards is a remarkable man. As a well respected dentist, a Senator and Governor of South Carolina, Secretary of Energy under Reagan's Administration, and President of the Medical University of South Carolina for 17 years, Dr. Edwards is admired by all.
The event in Dr. Edwards' honor drew in dentists, politicians, and donors from all over the state!
Tonight I will be helping out with the Children's Hospital's Chase After a Cure Gala held at Charlestowne Landing. A whirlwind of a weekend, if I don't say so myself.
