MUSC Graduation

This weekend was my graduation from the Medical University of South Carolina.
I know, I know :::cries::: why does time fly by so fast?
Momma, Daddy, and Ammie came to town on Thursday for the MHA Hooding and Awards Ceremony. Brad and his sweet family joined us on Thursday evening for dinner at Coast downtown.

My beautiful sister and I before the Hooding Ceremony.

The Commencement Ceremony took place on Friday. Both mine and Brad's family endured the early Charleston humidity and the crowd to watch me cross the stage.

How great are they? I can't thank them enough for travelling down to spend the weekend with me and my family.

Katy, Ashleigh, and me after the ceremony. Our pending separation gives me anxiety. But, moving on....
I am so blessed to have such wonderful and loving friends and family. Their grace, dedication and support has gotten me through the two year whirlwind that was my life. Thank you all... I couldn't have asked for a more lovely weekend.

A Week in Paradise

First and foremost, I apologize for my blogging absence. Things have been rather crazy these past few weeks, not to mention the fact that I haven't had a computer. I turned in my MHA computer a few weeks ago and am LOST without it. Nevertheless, my camera and I have some exciting things to share!
After classes ended, us MHAers (plus Brad) took off to KEY WEST for the week!
The PERFECT getaway before graduation....
On April 30th, Brad, Katy, Ashleigh and myself hit the road to travel the 12-14+ hours down to the Keys. To be honest, I was dreading (I mean seriously dreading) the drive down, but I was pleasantly surprised of how entertaining and beautiful the drive was.
We split up our long track and spent the first night in the beautiful West Palm Beach!

This picture is of Brad and I at The Breakers in West Palm. So gorgeous and perfectly manicured! It is defintely a place I dream of going back to one day.

Here it is...our house in Key West. This is where the 12 of us spent most of our days laying out by the pool and/or in the infamous float/boat, napping, eating, drinking and just hanging out. This trip was definitely a "try your hardest to do absolutely NOTHING trip"- my favorite kind!

A group of us at our favorite spot- Flying Monkeys!

Cinco De Mayo on Duval Street!

We all had such a great time....a week in paradise deserved by all!
