You Did It!

Brad ran the Cooper River Bridge Run all by himself this year!
This is runner 14139 before the approximate 6.2 miles!

I enjoyed standing on the sidelines watching the 40,000+ go by! Unfortunately, I couldn't snap a picture of him (or any other friends I saw) in action...

Afterward, I offered to take Brad anywhere he wanted for breakfast.Of course, he picked this!

Congratulations to Brad and everyone who completed the run! YOU DID IT!

...So worth it!

This past weekend I joined my baby sister in Columbia for the St. Pat's Festival in Five Points.
As always, it was a crazy fun time!

Decked out in green, we partied ALL day and night!

We enjoyed the bands (actually only Villanova), lots of food...

and of course GREEN beer!

I think I may have only gotten 3 hours of sleep.

...but it was so worth it!

Here's to Spring

Spring has a break, just once more....
And it couldn't have come at a more appropriate time!

It might only be March. It might only be 43 degrees outside. I might have no where to go. And I might have three papers to write. But it's HERE!!!

I kicked off my spring break with a slice of Mountain Dew cake (compliments to Meghan Eichelberger and Mandy Pottorf.) Yes, you heard right...a Mountain Dew Cake. The credit goes to the restaurant Halo, a new favorite MUSC lunch hot spot.

Isn't she lovely......

So, here's to a much needed break. Here's to warmER weather. Here's to relaxation. Here's to new beginnings.
